Back when the internet was a wee young lad, there was a 'meeting of the minds' type conference in Cornia. Back in 1995 the founders of Yahoo, Amazon.com met for a conference in California (i'll edit this with more details later)
Just last week, in the same conference room, there was another 'meeting of the minds.' Their topic? Bitcoin of course.
Today bitcoin is confusing, hard to use, risky, and could fail as an idea. But so was the internet in 1995.
Bitcoin today is in a similar state as the internet was in 1995. However, as the idea becomes easier to use, easier to understand, and people begin to trust the system, its popularity will improve, just like the internet.
It took about 20 years for the internet to gain wide-steam popularity.
It took about 10 years for the social media revolution.
How long will it take bitcoin?
